We have another Holiday fast approaching.....and that would be Valentines Day. Not that Im ever Johnny on the Spot and on time but I just had to cut into this Gorgeous new Designer Series Paper! I paired it with the Sunshine Wishes Thinlits to make this card. Hope you like it.

I wanted to share a card I will be doing with my Retreat Stampers in January for a class they will be doing. I hope they love coloring this Petal Passion Designer Series Paper as much as I do. I used the New Blends and loved how it pulled together. So easy to color these images that are just itching to be colored.

Petals Passion Memories and More.....Sneak Peek

Hi Everyone,
I have a Sneak Peek for you today of one of the new products coming out in January. I think you are going to love it.

I started looking through some of my new stuff (I get to order early being a Demo) and was so delighted to see the cards in the Petals Passion Memories and More Card Pack. I saw this card and thought....this is going to be a card for sure. It also showcases one of the new Sweet Soiree Masks as well. I hope you like it.

I colored with the new Blends using the Combo Packs in Pool Party, Daffodil Delight and Old Olive. I was just going to add the cute little card but then could see it would be prettier if I fussy cut it. lol
The Sentiment is actually from one of the cards too. Just cut it out and added a little Bling for interest.
I used our Embossing Tase tinted with Pool Party Re-inker and spread it over the Sweet Soiree Mask onto the Basic Gray mat and that was it. Just waited for it to dry and assembled.

You can't get some of these products yet but will be able to come January 3rd. How exciting is that?
If you don't have a Demonstrator and would like for me to send you the New Catalog when it comes out...just let me know. I'd love to get one to you. You can just click on the Contact me button at the top of my blog. Hope to hear from you soon. :)

That's it for today....hoping it a Happy Day for all!

World Card Making Day Blog Hop 2017

Hi Everyone,
We have got a fabulous Blog Hop for you today! I hope you enjoy it.

I've been into Clean & Simple lately and wanted to build a class with that in mind.
What better way than to use our fabulous "Year of Cheer" Specialty Designer Series Paper.
Sometimes Designer Paper just speaks for itself. Even a smidgen of it. lol
I will do this class using the Copper only.

Here are the two cards I am sharing...hope you like them. I am working on one more I will share later.

For this card I used 1/4" steps of our yummy Copper Foil Paper and glued them right to the card base.

I then added a mat of Copper and a white image piece embossed with the Copper Embossing Powder.   See the little leaves? they were cut out of the DSP I am using on my next card.
I also used the tiny line of dots die from the Swirly Snowflake Thinlits to add a little interest to this simple card.

This Designer Paper is from the same Pack and so, so beautiful. Talk about speaking for itself! I added a Copper Foil Mat and just a strip of Champagne to the right side to break it up and tie it all together.
Tip: I cut the leaves for the previous card out of the DSP and added the Circle Sentiment to cover it.

Now it's time to be inspired by the rest of the Blog Hop Participants.

Here are a list of supplies if you'd like to create your own.
Thanks for stopping in today!
Enjoy the Hop!

Feeling of Christmas

Hi Everyone,
It has been so crazy busy here but I wanted to share a little card I did using the "Feeling of Christmas Stamp Set"
Isn't that Wreath just the most delicate thing you've ever seen? It was so relaxing to just sit and color it. I love to watercolor so it was fun for me.

Just so you don't think I've fallen off the face of the earth I want to share a few pictures of a special Charity Event I had. Guess who came to it?

Recognize this Beautiful Lady? You're right? It's Shelli Gardner...Founder of Stampin' Up! What a fabulous day we had for our Charity Event. She really made it so special. Here are a few more pictures of our packed house.

My Fabulous Team of Girls that work the Events with me.

Shelli speaking to our Stampers

Just some of the School Supplies we collected for "The Giving Closet" here in Jacksonville. These School Supplies helped so many children who would have done without. Makes my Heart giddy that we can help like that. Of course we have great Stampers with Big Hearts that make this all possible!

That't it for today...just wanted to pop in and say hello and do a little sharing.

See you soon.

Hot Daisy Delight

Hi Everyone,
I'm just getting to play with this new Daisy Delight Stamp Set from the new Stampin' Up! Catalog and I'm having a blast with it.
Gotta say this set is a must have in my book!

You know me....I love using stamps to make my own fun backgrounds and couldn't resist using the Daisy stamp to make this one. It's one Hot Daisy, don't you think?

So not only do I like to create backgrounds...I love creating texture of different feels by sponging onto white. You can stay in the same color family that way and have the intensity you are looking for. The Tangerine Tango was sponged onto the white cardstock to create my colored mat on here.
So much fun. What do you think? It's not just a flat color but one of texture and feels wonderful. Something about that ink on paper! lol

I hope you enjoyed my little share today....

BTW...new Catalog is coming! Do you have yours coming? If you don't have a Demonstrator and would like one let me know.....just hit the contact me button at the top of my blog.

See ya next time!

Super Hero for Autism Blog Hop

Seems fitting don't you think?
How many Superheroes do you know affected by Autism?

I had to use the Super Hero Stamp Set as that is what I think of people that are affected with Autism, whether it be the individual or the parent or family.
Do you recognize LOVE? Look at a family that loves no matter what.
They are Super Hero's to me! They are LOVE!

Autism Fact #3
Researchers have noted that infants who had early accelerated head growth were at risk for autism.

Several years ago I had this vision to enlighten more people with facts about Autism and make them aware of how Autism affects lives. I have done this through live events for Autism (and in the last three years)  Blog Hops for Autism. It's been incredible to get support from so many Stampin' Up! Demonstrators and our Stamping Families.

Today I am dedicating this Post to Kai

Kai has been diagnosed with Aspergers.
His family didn't know that until recently.

He was born with Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, drug exposed, and hiv indeterminate. Withdrawals were horrible as an infant, he became over stimulated so easily and as a result of being exposed to hiv he was on a mass of anti-viral meds. Thankfully, he was cleared of hiv having always been negative. However the FAS and drug exposure has proved to effect his entire life.

At age 3 he began having massive seizures. (brain trauma that we had no idea was another signal of things to come.) He would have sometimes 15/20 seizures a day. These seizures lasted about a year, then one day they simply disappeared. For that his family have been so very thankful.

Fast forward to Mother’s Day weekend of 2015. This is the weekend he went into his very first Rage episode. It was horrible for both the family and Kai. This weekend began a journey of trying to figure out what is going on and how to get him the help he needs.

Since then, he has been hospitalized 10 times. There was so much we had not yet understood at this point. And getting anyone to spend enough time to help us figure it out seemed impossible.

There have been many doctors, therapist and assessments to help us get a better understanding regarding all the contributing factors.

Here’s what we know today.

Kai is on the high functioning end of the Autism spectrum. (this diagnosis has really helped to explain a lot.) Added to this, the results of Fetal Alcohol Syndrome (FAS), Oppositional Defiance Disorder (ODD), Disruptive Mood Dysregulation Disorder (DMDD), Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Cerebral Dysrhythmia, and Mathematics disorder (basically means he struggles recognizing math symbols, things get switched around as he tries to process them, his math abilities are far below his intellect and overall education as a result.) Recently his psychiatrist, and another expert in the field stated that Kai’s complicating factors are very rare. His doctor told us he had only ever seen a very few children with these degree of complexity.

This all plays out every day with him struggling with impulsiveness, obsessive behavior, sensory issues, mood and emotion regulation difficulties, going from easy going to explosive anger, anxiety, and on and on. He has to work so hard around others to try and “keep” them from seeing how much he struggles even with simple interactions.

I can't imagine even a day in Kai's shoes, can you?

So in honor of my Hero "Kai" I will send via email three Technique Tutorials to anyone donating $25 or more. I promise you won't be disappointed.

Thanks for reading my "Why"
Please help if you can. Make sure to send me your address when you donate to my email at the top of my blog where it says "Contact Me"

Want to travel so some other blogs to see what they've been up to? You'll be glad you did!
We've got  Super Hero's in this line up too! Please visit and help if you can.
