Sure Do Love You

Had a crazy busy week like most of you this week. Spending time doing some Cookie Decorating at a  Special Needs School here locally and a few other fun activities. I guess it's all part of the "Reason for the Season".
We have another Holiday fast approaching.....and that would be Valentines Day. Not that Im ever Johnny on the Spot and on time but I just had to cut into this Gorgeous new Designer Series Paper! I just had to. Normally I sit on it for a bit...okay I sit on it for a long time before I can cut it....but this pack just screamed to be cut.

This "Painted With Love Specialty Designer Paper will be available to you on January 3rd. Not too far off from now. You might want to keep it in mind for your wish list. The other papers are just as gorgeous with the gold gilding in it. So, so fabulous and chic', don't you think?
I paired it with the Sunshine Wishes Thinlits to make this card. Hope you like it.

Hot Daisy Delight

Hi Everyone,

I'm just getting to play with this new Daisy Delight Stamp Set from the new Stampin' Up! Catalog and I'm having a blast with it. 

Gotta say this set is a must have in my book!

You know me....I love using stamps to make my own fun backgrounds and couldn't resist using the Daisy stamp to make this one. It's one Hot Daisy, don't you think?

So not only do I like to create backgrounds...I love creating texture of different feels by sponging onto white. You can stay in the same color family that way and have the intensity you are looking for. The Tangerine Tango was sponged onto the white cardstock to create my colored mat on here. 

So much fun. What do you think? It's not just a flat color but one of texture and feels wonderful. Something about that ink on paper! lol

Cupcakes and Carousels

Hi Everyone!

So glad to share this fun card I did featuring the Cupcakes and Carousels Stamp Set with you. 

I love the Vintage feel of it and think I captured some whimsy too. Hope you like it.

  

So what do you think? I used the Designer Paper "Cupcakes and Carousel Designer Series Paper Pack" to add some striking color and lightness to the card. Love how the delicate Lace Trim added to the Vintage feel of it as well.

...and what about that gorgeous Doily? Did you know that they are white on one side and Vanilla on the other side? Swoon!!!

Birthday Blooms Stampin' Up! Occasions Sneak Peek

Hi Everyone,

I want to share a pretty card I did using the new Birthday Blooms Stamp Set from the new Occasions Catalog. 

If you don’t have one please let me know ( and don’t have a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator) I’ll be happy to send you one.

Here is my card….I hope you like it.

Did you ever wonder about Random Stampin? Well to me it’s not so random sometime and more of a pattern. Tips to remember….always start off the edge of the paper so it looks like it’s a continuation. Second try a spacing that you are comfortable with. Third…Stamp one line across and then stamp the second line below but in between, third lime back to the same as line one and so forth as seen below.  Hope that helps.

You’ve Got This for Stamping and Blogging

Good Morning Everyone!

Hope you’re having a great week. I have been able to play with some of my new stampin’ stuff lately which makes me so happy. I hope you like my creation today. I had tons of fun making it.

Oh I wish the picture could capture the shine of the Gold Embossing…it’s really cool!

So let me tell you what I did here. Of course I stamped the flower, colored and cut out from “You’ve Got This” Stamp Set.

Next I grabbed a piece of Designer Paper from the Farmers Market Pack. It’s Black and Vanilla and on the other side it’s cool dots in shades of Cobbler. Anyway I placed it on a black mat and liked it. I then laid it on top of The Vanilla Card Base…it just want’s cutting it. So I took that Vanilla Mat and stamped the lined image in Gorgeous Grunge down the right side of it. I liked it but it could still use something. I then went back in and added the same image stamped in Versamark and Gold Embossed it. I so wish you could see this!!! I ended up doing the other side as well. Kind of reminds me of Grasscloth. Then I decided to stamp across the Designer Paper as well. Oh Yeah….that made it pop even more.

Not sure you can see but I dipped the edges in Versamark and then dipped into the gold Embossing Powder already in my tray. Really finished it off nicely. I just needed to stamp the “Thanks” and add the little Black strip to the card and pop up the flower. Oh, oh, oh!!! Wait I also stamped the littlest dots onto the flower in Versamark and added some gold dew drops to tie in the gold theme. Hope you like it.

Another Thank You Meets I Think You’re Great!

Hi Everyone!

Time for some more WWYS Designs. Hope you’ll think about playing along this week. It’s so fun.

Here is my card featuring the Another Thank You Set.

This was my simple yet elegant card for my “Ice Cream Sundae” Sunday yesterday. That’s when all my favorite stamper friends come and see what’s new and get their new catalogs. So fun!! Nothing better than playing with new product and having Ice Cream, right?
Anyway….my card is featuring the “Another Thank You Set” and the “I Think You’re Great” Set from Stampin’ Up! I love the two combined. What do you think? I actually had all five new in colors out for everyone to choose. This one is one of my fav’s. Tip Top Taupe and Black. Simple and Elegant I think. Hope you like it.
Oh! I added one of the little In Color Blossom Accents  to the side of the thanks and colored some rhinestones black with a black sharpie to finish it off.

Autumn Accents & Stamping and Blogging!

Hi Again,
Time to do a little sketch challenge with Stamping and Blogging! I hope you will play along. Sandy always has some unique sketches that sometimes make me stretch or scratch my head. This did both!! lol
I decided to maximize on the Washi Tape as it’s so beautiful! I’m one of those that is saving it for later!! So I had to actually open the package to do this one!!! So what do you think?

I kind of had fun with this. My base is Crushed Curry cut to 4 1/4 x 11. Next mat is Cajun Craze…a must have for Fall! It’s cut to 4 x 5 1/4. Next up Very Vanilla cut to 3 3/4 x 5 and run through the big Shot with my Woodgrain Embossing Folder. Love it!! I first added my Beautiful Washi to the Vanilla Base and wrapped it around the back to secure. Once done I added tape to the back and attached to the Cajun Craze. That layer I put dimensionals on and placed it on the Crushed Curry Card Base.
Next I cut leaves out of Crushed Curry and Cajun Craze and threw in a little Blackberry Bliss leaf in the background. I did emboss with the same folder and sponged a bit. Before I attached them to the card I did a little Ribbon Shredding of the Burlap Ribbon and added it for some texture and because Sandy wanted me to!! lol
I then added my sponged leaves with a few glue dots and a gathering of linen thread attached with a glue dot. The card seemed a bit clean, which is my norm but I felt for once I needed to dirty it up! Holy Moly! Got more on the front than I wanted to!!! So I added another piece of Washi Tape to the top left. I think it balanced it out, don’t you?
Did you see the inside of the card with the Washi and my Washi Leaf? So stinkin’ cute! I think anyway.
