Masculine Solid Stripes and Blog Candy

Good Morning Everyone,

I’d like to take this opportunity to Thank each and everyone of you that visit my blog…..I am so close to 100,000 visits…..I just can’t believe it.

Leave  a blog comment today and Wednesday I will give away a Level 2 Hostess Set “Asian Artistry” . I will use Random .org to select. Remember all you have to do is leave a comment today!!!!

candle holder and Asian Artistry 003

Now………………..

I’d like to share a card I did with the “Solid Stripes” Stamp that is getting to be one of my favorites. It is available in our Occasions Mini which can be viewed on my website.

I am finding this little stamp to be very versatile…as I just finished a very feminine card and now a masculine one with it.

So what do you think?

swap and 411- 139 002

I’ve used Very Vanilla on the card base and run it though the Finial Press Embossing folder to add some Texture to the background.

I’ve then stamped the Striped stamp with Versamark and used Black Embossing Powder to give it a rich look and matted it on black and then a bigger piece of Old Olive….very Manly wouldn’t you say? I added a piece of 5/8” Black Grosgrain and did a small loop bow using a clear rhinestone brad.

The sentiment is embossed as well on a die cut from the Matchbox Die (gift from my dear friend Laura, told you I’d use it), I love that die.

So that’s it! I made this card for a swap I was in and hope everyone liked it. I just thought it time for me to do a few Masculine cards.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you’ll come back soon.

….and as always….

Have a Stampinlgee Good Day!!!

Hi Lee, I am here every time you post but don't always comment, very bad of me, I know. I love the simpleness and clean lines in your cards. It makes them very unique and enjoyable to look at. This one is no exception...I love the use of the lined stamp. It looks like you embossed it, did you? This card is very masculine, the hardest for me to do. Thanks for sharing your creations with us through your Blog and thanks for offering some Blog Candy. Have a wonderful day!

Lee,
This card is so sharp and clean. Yet love the simplicity
of it! Enjoy your creations and thank you for sharing so freely with us. Now, I too must get this stamp. Had been thinking about it, because, I am a "stripe" person. But this wonderful masculine card pushed me over the edge. Thanks again!!
