Stamping 411 Sketch 246 ~ Creative Elements

Hi Everyone,
I’m excited about today’s sketch. It’s fun and easy and I’ve chosen one of my fav stamp sets.
Here is the sketch:
…and my interpretation.

I’ve used the Creative Elements Set which I so enjoy creating with. Sure makes it easy to creative something beautiful.

• I stamped the flower three times and cut to three different sizes in Rose Red, then popped each layer up with dimensionals. then added one of our new Jumbo Pearls.
• The black mat is cut to 3 3/8 x 4 5/8 then I added a piece as an afterthought using the Ribbon Border Punch at the bottom of it.
• The Very Vanilla Image Piece is cut to 3 1/4 x 4 1/2 and stamped with the flourish and colored in with my Aqua Painter and Crayons. I love color layering like this. So fun!
• I stamped the Thanks from Rue des Fleurs in Black Stazon as well.
• My Black strip down the center of the card is actually black cardstock and cut to 1/2 x 5 1/2 .
• I added the image layer with dimensionals and added the flower.
• To finish it off I added tiny little pearls to the flourish where possible to give it that little extra touch.
• I then attached my double bow done in Black Satin Ribbon to the top with glue dots.
• My card base is 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 and is Very Vanilla

Everybunny….Awwwwwww!

Hi Everyone,

I’ve got a cute little share for you today. I can’t wait to show my customers how to totally cut a card using the Framelits Dies. Cool huh? I’ve used the set “Everybunny” on this cute card. Hope you like it.

You know I saw my friend Sandi MacIver’s card made with this set and loved the brown bunny with the purples…so had to do my own take on it. Thanks for the inspiration Sandi. Make sure to check out her vibrant card. It’s so fabulous.

Happy Birthday To Me Blog Candy!

Hi Everyone,

Today is my Birthday and I’m going to do workshop with some of my favorite people over on Jax Beach today. I love these ladies. Talk about fun!!! I think they created the word!

Tonight we’ll have some family time and tomorrow night out for a really fancy dinner to celebrate.

Stamping 411 Sketch Challenge #245

Can you just even believe it’s Friday already? Where did this week go? I think I need a few more hours in the day to get done what I need to, don’t you?

Anyway it is time for our Stamping 411 Sketch challenge. I hope you will take the time to play along this week. It’s tons of fun. At least take a peek at what the other Operators have done…they are amazing.

Here is the sketch…

…and my sweet interpretation. I think it’s sweet because of the colors….pink and green….oh yes!

One of my all time favorites sets is Her Expressions. So easy to use and work around. I just love how delicate it is.

The card base is Wild Wasabi and cut to 4 1/4 x 11 and folded in half after scoring on the Simply Scored. I them added a some Blushing Bride cut to 4 x 4 1/2and added a strip of DSP cut     to 1 1/4 x 4 to the bottom of it. I stamped the saying with Black Stazon onto a piece of Whisper White Cardstock cut to 1 1/4 x 2 1/2 and the green mat to 1 3/8 x 2 5/8. The image piece is again stamped with Black Stazon on to Whisper White Card stock cut to 2 x 3 . I did a little Maker layering and coloring. I did light green and added just a touch of the dark green towards the bottom of the leaves. Can you see? The green mat beneath is cut to 2 1/8 x 3 1/8. The flower layer was taped to the card and the saying was popped up with dimensionals. the cute bow is attached with a glue dot. The little circle was stamped with a little stamp from a set called Mixed Bunch in Blushing Bride and mounted on a circle of Blushing Bride cardstock. The I popped it up with a dimensional.
