Vintage Leaves for Stampers Dozen Blog Hop

stampers dozen blog hop

Hi Everyone,

Is fall in the air where you live? We’re getting a little bit of cooler weather in the evenings and mornings in Florida. I love that!!

This months theme for Stampers Dozen is “Fall” so what better way to celebrate Fall than with beautifully colored leaves? I hope you enjoy my card. My friend Nancy shared her sponging technique with me and I loved her card so of course had to do one and put my own spin on it. Smile

I love the Vintage Leaves Stamp Set…..to me it’s one of the best Fall Sets on the Market…so if you don’t have it you might want to consider it. Not only that but it has a framelit to cut out all those lovely leaves as well. That’s a big Whoo Hoo!

For this card I decided to use Cajun Craze Card Stock and Ink…my fav for Fall. I did the mat using a variety of leaves in the set to do the tone on tone background. I love how it came out. Gives it a lot of texture I think.

I then sponged the leave after stamping With Early Espresso….sponging using Crushed Curry, Always Artichoke a bit of Cherry Cobbler and a tad of Cajun Craze to make it come together.

I added a gold mat as I felt it needed a bit of a Pop and then a Gold Twine Bow that I made into a triple bow using my “Magic Bow Maker” sold above on my blog (my hubby makes them). I attached the leave using dimensionals.

Inside peek….add a little strip of gold to add to the White insert to tie it all together.

That’s it!! Easy Peasy Nice and Easy.

I hope you will continue on with the hop….next up is Janet…please click on the button below to visit her blog.
