Watercolor Wings for WWYS

Hi Everyone,

wwys cropped

Here we are again with What Will You Stamp!! Are you familiar with this fun group? Have you bought a stamp set and have only used it once because you don’t know what to do with it? You’re in the perfect place!!! Our group concentrates on one stamp set a week and you’ll see tons of ideas featuring that stamp set. How cool is that? …and you get to play along. Way fun!!!

I’m so excited to play with one of my favorite stamp sets in the catalog this week. It sure makes stamping fun and easy and oh so beautiful! I hope you like it.

So let me tell you how I did this gorgeous butterfly. I stamped the largest background stamp in Crushed Curry and then used the outline stamp in Delightful Dijon. The center stamp in Black Memento really make all those colors pop!! Y’all know I love black and white with a pop of color. lol

Don’t’ you love this Designer Paper? It’s the Go Wild Designer Paper Stack on page 144 of the big catalog. It’s truly one of my fav’s this year. It comes in 6x6 pieces and is just enough to add some to a card and use your Envelope Liner Framelit to jazz up your envelope. I love it when things match like that. I think it kicks it up a few notches when you line your envelope. Don’t you?

The background of my white mat is stamped with the speckled stamp from Gorgeous Grunge (a must have) and done in black and the yellow tones. Really ties it in I think.

As you see I added a few Rhinestones to the Butterfly and the saying as my finishing touches.

Oh and I had a tiny strip of the designer paper left that I added to the inside of the card too. I just had snippets left……love that!!!

Don’t forget the Watercolor Wings comes with a fabulous Framelit to cut out those gorgeous butterflies. So easy!!!

Have a wonderful day and stamp something fun today. Hopefully with WWYS!
