…and my interpretation…..
Sketch 229
This is such a fun and cute card I hope you like it. It’s done with the fabulous Cherry Cobbler For the Card Base and then matched with a layer of Crumb Cake. I ran that layer through the Big Shot using the Snowflake Embossing Folder. The strip going across measures 1 1/2 x 5 1/4 and then I added a touch of Cherry Cobble by using the Ribbon Border Punch. Don’t you just love the little snippet of color peeking out? The Cirlce was made using the Pennants Die from Stampin’ Up!….love, love, love those decorative circles they have on that die. I paired it with the 1 3/4 Circle Punch for the image piece. The best way to do the image is to stamp on a piece of scrap paper and then punch out…..by looking at the bottom of the punch you can see exactly where you are punching. So you get perfect placement of the image.
I used the Merry Christmas Sentiment from the Contempo Christmas Stamp set and punched it out using the x-large Oval Punch and then cut a Cherry Cobbler Circle in half to adorn it along with the Rhinestones and Double Bow make with Sherry Cobbler Seam Binding.
This was a fun and fast card to do…..I hope you like it.
Thanks for stopping in…it’s always nice to see you again.

Love the rhinestone accents and your use of the ribbon border punch. I never seem to remember to use that one! Great inspiration, as always, Lee! Blessings, Gretchen

Just stunning, Lee. Think my holiday card this year will sport a similar color combo. Love the thin ribbon border peeking out.

This is brilliant, Lee! I like it so much I think I'll have my Shoebox gals make this with a few change-ups based on materials I wanted to feature. I especially love the use of a full "face" of the Snow burst cut and scalloped ribbon inserted top and bottom there.

Ditto brilliant! I love how you continued the texture into the strip going across the card so monochromatically!
