Convention Day One! Salt Lake and the Palace!

Hi Everyone,

I feel like a slacker…..I need to post some of the fun things I’m seen and experienced here.

First up here is the cute Room Mate gift box I got from my Roomie Sandy MacIver!! I’m not going to tell you what was inside but can I just say “WOW”!!!

But isn't this just the cutest box ever??? It’ gorgeous in person an typical Sandi Mac Style with her awesome water coloring. Thanks so much Sandi!!!I love it!

So we went off to our first day at convention and got to go in the V.I.P.Lounge….the only way you could get in there was to get a personal recruit in April and both Sandi and I did that. here I am waiting to go inside…..lots of special treats inside…

Like getting to chat with our founder and CEO of Stampin’ Up! Shelli Gardner. She’s so fabulous and gracious to all of us.

…and her she is again with Sandi MacIver and me……How cool is that?

We sat and had donuts and candies and nuts and the best Lemonade I think I’ve ever had. See all the goodies in the background? Yummy!!

After that we had to rush back to the Hotel and change for the Party in the Park. It was actually at the convention center but it was tons of fun. Lots of Demos’ modeling the hats they created with all of us. Here is mine…  I made these flowers using card stock. They really look real. I will be doing a tutorial on them soon.

 

Here I am modeling my hat and visiting with Gabby and Richard Garay from California. Richard and Gabby are both Demonstrators and so very talented. It was great seeing them there.
