Stamping 411 Sketch Challenge #180

Hi Everyone,

Welcome to another Sketch Challenge from Stamping 411

I hope you will find some time to check out what the other Operators have created…..I’m sure you’ll be pleasant surprised.

Here is the Sketch

SSC180

….and my card….

sketches 179-180 005

I was really at a loss for this sketch when I unpacked a box I got from Stampin’ Up! and saw this set called Every Moment. I wondered how it would look in white…..oh I’ve been missing my white. Anyway I paired the white with Early Espresso and loved it….so used it for the Mats, Ribbon, Image and Greeting. The card base is cut to 4 1/4 x 11 and the Early Espresso is cut to 4 x 5 1/4….the White Mat was run through the Big Shot with one of my Texture Plates to give it a bit of Texture…..it actually looks like white bark!!! The Image piece with Bird is 2 x 3 and the Early Espresso Mat is 2 1/8 3 1/8…the Butterfly Image piece is 1x1 and the EE Mat is 1 1/8 x 1 1/8. The Greeting is done using the Curly Cute Set and stamped on a white scrap of 3/4 x 3 1/8 and the mat of EE is 7/8 x 3 1/4.

I colored the images with my Watercolor Pencils and blended with my Blender Pen. Love that mode of coloring. I outlined it a bit with lt. blue and shaded a bit. I then popped everything up with dimesntionals. Let’s not forget about the Early Espresso Satin Ribbon….it’s absolutely delicious!!!

Thanks for visiting and hope to see you back soon.

Gorgeous card, Lee! When I saw your post on LNS, I just had to dash over to your blog and get the details. I love Every Moment already! I never think to use the watercolor pencils, but it's a great look. Thanks for sharing this card -- and everything else you do! You've got a great style!
