Good Morning Everyone,
This past Saturday I did and event called Stampin’ Out Hunger with some of my Stampin’ Up! Team Members. It was a fabulous event where our customers got to make seven projects, have a catered lunch and win fabulous prizes. Part of the admission was to bring canned food that we collected for the Second Harvest Food Bank. In addition to that we had many, many raffle items that brought in over $650 for the Second Harvest. What a great feeling to know that we as a team helped put food on many tables for the holidays.
Here is the card I did for the event. I used the bells and Boughs Stamp Set and Sahara Sand Cardstock with The Deck The Halls DSP and our fabulous Always Artichoke Seam Binding for the Triple Bow Ribbon. I of course used my Magic Bow Maker for the Bow. I also used some of our flat pearls for the accent. I hope you like it.
I want to share a few pictures today and will follow up in a few days with the rest of the pictures…well some of them…I have hundreds!!! hehe
My team of Girls for the event:
Roberta, Gina, Susan, Christina, Myself, Lisa with Daughter Taylor, Karen with Daughter Katie and Janet. They all did a fabulous job to make this event a huge success.
This was our Raffle Table with tons of prizes on there from local merchants. Our customers got to place tickets into the little boxes for the prizes they wanted most.
My friend Jimmy airbrushed a Fireplace for us on black fabric to hang by our tree. Under the tree are the Door Prizes. Can you tell the tree is decorated with Snowflakes from our Snowflake Die? We glittered them up with our Fine Cosmos Glitter. Oh boy were we ever sparkly!!!
This was just one of the two rooms that accommodated 24 people
Then we had three of these rooms that held 12 people per room. We had seating for 84 people and lunch rooms that sat 35 people.
Here are some Happy Stamper’s, while others are looking for to see what the raffles are and what they want to take chance at.
Here we have Lolly and Sara…two very special guest from Miami. They flew up just for the event. They in fact sponsored us at their building and provided lunch for over 100 people Thanks so much Lolly and Sara!!! This was their first time stamping and they had a blast and said they would be back for more.
Time for a lunch break….
Wouldn’t be Christmas without a visit from Santa Claus!!!!
Hope you’ll check back for the rest of the projects and special pictures from our event.
See you soon…..
