Hi Everyone,
Welcome to another Stamping 411 Challenge. I hope you will play along this week
and my interpretation…..I guess I drifted a bit but it’s allowed! hehe
I actually left a little space at the bottom for a little banner I will stamp and place on it when I decide who will get this card. I often don’t stamp sentiments until I need the card.
Anyway this card was a huge challenge for me. Lots of blank space to fill. I had been thinking about this Trellis treatment for sometime and finally did it. It was one of those things in my head that wouldn’t go away. Then one of my Team Members Karen, proposed a challenge using Glorious Green!!!! Whoa!!!! That is huge for me. I don’t think I’ve used that color often. So today is the day to pull that color out and give it a shot. I guess I’ve always thought of that color for Christmas only! So I wanted to make it Spring like with some Pizzazz!
Actually this was the color and almost the same flowers as the Bridesmaid Dress I wore to my Brother’s wedding a million years ago. So that was my inspiration.
I did a little ribbon dying with my marker on the White Taffeta Ribbon so it would match the green. I put that aside and used my Trellis Die and cut two white and two green. I popped the white trellis ( I used one and a half) up with little tiny pieces of cut up dimensionals. Ten I though maybe I could plug in some fo the green scraps from the green trellis’ I cut out to give it a bit of a Stained Glass look. I put those in with Tombo Multi.
i then cut a gajillion little flowers using my Birds and Blooms Sizzlit Die using white Vellum…..Now if you should want to do these little flowers run the vellum through the Polka Dot Embossing Folder first. I put in there after I cut the flowers so it took a bit longer. I then put two flower together with a glue dot and added a rhinestone to the center of each and placed them strategically on the Trellis.Oh, I added a Rhinestone Brad to the Ribbon to match. That’s it!!! No Stamping what so ever….that is until I put my sentiment on there.
I hope you’ve enjoyed your visit and will check out what my Fellow Operators have done for this challenge. They are AWESOME!!!! I am so fortunate to be a part of this great team, and Selene our Creator of all these wonderful Sketches is just the BEST!!!
Now go out there and Have a Stampinglee Good Day!!!

yes, Lee, drifting is allowed -- even when there isn't snow on the ground (like, when will that be). This card is absolutely amazing. The attention to detail is fabulous and the contrast between the green and white is striking! Thanks for creating it and sharing it! Blessings, Gretchen
