Stamping 411 Sketch challenge

Good Morning Everyone,

Welcome to another Stamping 411 Sketch Challenge.

Here is this weeks Sketch:

ssc107

and my interpretation.

ssc107_2_thumb[15]

For this very easy sketch I used some of our new Melon Mambo cardstock for the base 5 1/2” x 8 1/2”. the next layer is Rich Razzleberry and is cut to 3 3/4” x 5” and the last layer is some of our delicious Designer Series Paper called “Razzleberry Lemonade”, it’s cut to 3 5/8” x 4 7/8” . I attached the DSP to the Rich Razzleberry with Mono-adhesive. I needed something else for the card so I pulled out some of my white 1/4” Grosgrain Ribbon and colored it with my Melon Mambo Marker to have it match so perfectly (make sure to only use the side of the brush tip so not to ruin your point, and color both sides). Wrap your ribbon around those layers and adhere to the back with a bit of Mono –adhesive. I then popped that layer up with our Stampin’ Up! Dimensionals.

I then pulled out my three Oval punches, my Scallop Oval, Large Oval and Small Oval to make the oval layers. I stamped the saying from our new set called Teeny Tiny Wishes. (hint: stamp you saying on white cardstock first and then punch holding your punch upside down so you can see where you are punching. that way you’re saying will always be perfectly centered.

Last but not least I added some flat back pearls to the ribbon to dress it up a bit. I think it added just the right touch. what do you think?

Thant’s it for today. Remember that we would love to have you play along with this challenge over at stamping 411. You will have from Saturday July 11th—17th to submit your entry.

Thanks for stopping by, and as always have a….

Stampinglee Good Day!

I really like your card! The colors, layout, stamp, papers all work together just beautifully!
