Balloon Celebrations for Totally Techniques using a Stencil

Hi Everyone!

Today's technique is using a Stencil. I love out Stencils that Stampin' Up! makes...have you seen them. They are really FAB!
So I've shown the mask as a soft backdrop for my Balloons. Hope you like it.
So my card base is Watercolor Paper....I know extravagant but I love the weight of it and it makes it really special. It's followed by a mat of Mint Macaron and followed by my Stenciled Mat
Love my Watercolor Paper....it's just makes things so much more.
Here are the Dots and Stripes Stencils that we sell. These come paired together. It's the bestest deal in town. I promise. lol

Look at the backdrop....I laid my stencil on top of my Watercolor Mat and spritzed it with a combo alcohol and about 10-12 drops of Mint Macaron re-inker and mixed it in one of our Spritzer bottles and just spritzed a few times. I'm always delightfully surprised as to what just a little spritz can do to add character to any card. Try it...it's fabulous!
Notice my sweet balloons from the Balloon Celebration Set? One of my all time fav's....so easy and fun and has a punch to go with it to cut those lovelies out for you. Sweet!
They are done in Mint Macaron stamped off for the balloon and then full strength for the little speckles that go on top. the pink is Melon Mambo and I did the same for that. The Black Balloon is just punch black card stock to tie things together.
Bet your wondering about the Melon Mambo Bakers Twine....hehe
Well I actually made my bow and used white Bakers Twine...and it just didn't pop enough so out came another Spritzer and I mixed up some Melon Mambo and spritzed my little bow.....Love it!!!

The Sentiment is White Embossed on a strip pf Black Card Stock and just taped on to the card mat. I added a few diamonds... to jazz it up a bit.
Hope you like it.

Product List if you would like to recreate this card. :)
