Bells and Boughs and Anniversary

Good Morning Everyone,

Before I get to my card making I have a special announcement to make…..

Today my Husband and I Celebrate our 41st Wedding Anniversary. I just can’t believe it! Seems only a few years ago we were dating!!! This is my Husband Darrell below….such a cutie, don’t you think?.I think I’ll keep him!! Happy Anniversary!! Love you!!!!

Awards Dinner at Howey in the Hills 009

….now on with the show

Here’s a little card I did yesterday with the Bells and Boughs Stamp Set from Stampin’ Up! I may use this one for a Swap I’m in with 31 other Demonstrators around the country….what do you think?

Bells and Boughs Swap

This card features the Bells and Boughs Stamp Set. I sponged the oval area with Pear Pizzazz and Crum Cake. The layers are Crumb Cake and Cherry Cobbler….hmmmmmmm this card is making me hungry with those names. The image is stamped in Black Stazon and colored in with Markers.

I of course had to put a little embellishment on it so I added three of our gorgeous pearls on it.

tip:  The best way to pick up these pearls and apply is to pick them up with your paper snips. Open you snips and slide under the pears part way closing the snips a bit. Picks up the Pear and the adhesive then apply to paper and remove the snips. Easy Peasy!

Thanks for stopping by and as always….

Have a Stamping lee Good Day!

Congratulations on your 41st Anniversary. Last week Wednesday my DH and I celebrated our 25th!

The card is simply gorgeous! It takes my breath away. How did you get the oval? I think that I may just have to CASE this one for my Christmas Cards this year. I just love every thing about it. Such talent you have stored up.

Happy anniversary to you and your hubby, Lee. 1969 was apparently the year for love - my husband and I were married May 31st of that year. It doesn't seem possible it was that long ago, does it. Congratulations on your long marriage - it's a real accomplishment. - Lucia

Happy Anniversary, Lee. I look forward to seeing you again and meeting your husband when I visit my sister in Jacksonville next time.
I love your Christmas card - wish I were in the swap!
BTW, my parents celebrated their 63rd anniversary on the 18th. Keep it up, and you'll tie their record.
