Greatest Greeting for WWYS

Hi Everyone!
It time to check out the WWYS Team and see what we've been up to. I hope you will play along as well. all  you have to do is visit the WWYS Blog and play along with the Featured Set for the week. This week it's Greatest Greetings! It a great little set.

I decided to use the Set with Balloon Celebrations. I so enjoy that set too and Balloons are all the rage this year!

"Hooray for Today"
Seems perfect for a Birthday, Anniversary, Retirement, Engagement....just about anything, right?
Look at the other cute-cute sentiments that go along with this set!

Let me tell you a bit about my card.....
Do you love the background?
Well I made it with my Pool Party Ink Pad a Sponge Dauber and a ruler.

Make sure your ink pad is nice and inked up. Add some ink to your  Dauber and drag it across your White Card Stock. I did put a little bit of tape on the back to hold it in place. Once you do the first line cover it up with the ruler to make the 2nd and repeat until finished.
Tip: start off the paper so you don't get a circle image! Guess how I know that? lol

The colors for the Balloons are Pool Party, Crushed Curry and Wild Wasabi. I know the balloons look lighter and they are. I stamped off to get a lighter shade.

What a lovely card Lee!
How fun to make your own striped backgrounds like that.
I should give this a try. So simple, but never tried it before.
Thanks for showing!
