Stamping for "The Caden Project"

I don't normally share my Charity Events here but this one is so special. Not that they all aren't but when it involves kids ...well need I say more?

Yesterday we did our (Every other month, this was our 34th ) Charity Event here in Jacksonville Florida. This time it was for "The Caden Project" .

The Caden Project started in November of 2013 when our son, Caden, spent a month at Wolfson Children’s Hospital in Jacksonville, Fl. undergoing a bone marrow transplant at 15 months old. Caden was given a bear while in the hospital which he clung to for comfort during his sickest moments. The idea was then born to provide bears to as many children in the hospital that we could.

Gosh what an honor to be able to bring some joy to children that are not well. Can you imagine the joy of presenting a sick child with a Teddy Bear? Well you can. Just click the link above where it says "The Caden Project" and see how you can help. I promise you a feeling you won't soon forget.

Here are some of the pictures from yesterday's event. It was amazing. If you live in the Jacksonville Area and want to attend an event....just let me know. I'd love to have you. Our next one will be for Autism and is scheduled for April 16th. You need to make a reservation to attend as we need to prep a card making kit for you. That's right...you get to stamp too and have a catered lunch. It's the best deal in town!
Here we are getting ready for our stampers

Time to stamp! yay!
I see someone looking at the Raffle Table. Yes we have Raffles there and 100% of the proceeds go to the Charity.
Somebody (Melissa) won a huge basket of Stampin' Up! Goodies.

What better way to end the day than with Dessert served by Kelly and Kari from our Civitan Group.

That's it for today. I just had to share this experience with all of you.
Stamping is awesome but to incorporate it into helping others is just the best!
Mark your calendar for our next one if you are local...It's Saturday, April 16th.

Happy Sunday.
Please remember to count your Blessings.

Hugs from me to you!
