Birthday Blooms

Hi Everyone,
I'm going to be sharing a several cards featuring the Birthday Blooms Stamp Set, which is one of my fav's from the Occasions Catalog. So pretty and soft using Blushing Bride as my main color.

The card base is 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 ns folded in half.
The White mat is 3 3/4 x 5
The image piece is White and cut to 2 1/2 x 5
Blushing Bride Mat 2 5/8 x 5

So little tip here.....
Stamp the center flower first and try to center it.
Then stamp one to the right and one to the left of it. You stand a better chance of getting things centered that way. Trust me I know. lol

I then used my Aqua Painter and some re-inker to color the flowers.
When coloring flowers the color does not have to be even...in fact it's better if it's not. Gives it a bit of character. See how I left some light on the tops of a few of the flowers?
Anyway the re-inkers I used were Old Olive for the stems and leaves and Bushing Bride for the Flowers. Go over the color a few time to intensify the colors, especially towards the center and bottom of the flowers where they are naturally darkest. :)

Don't forget the "For You" Sentiment on the bottom right hand corner of the card stamped in Old Olive. I added a Rhinestone to jazz it up a bit and a little bow made with the 1/4 Blushing Bride Ribbon. Hope you like it.

Thanks so much for stopping in. I'll see you tomorrow with another card featuring this set.
Happy Stamping!
