Hello Life~ Jacksonville STARZ Blog Hop

Hi Everyone,

Happy New Year to you! I wish all good things for you in the New Year! I just know 2015 is going to be AWESOME! Speaking of which….

Some of my Jacksonville STARZ Team is at it again with our monthly Blog Hop! I hope you will take the tour for some fun and fabulous ideas.

Here is my card featuring the Hello Life Stamp Set from Stampin’ Up!s new Occasions Catalog available on January 6th! Isn’t it divine? How about that Designer Paper? I love, love, love that too! Crisp Cantaloupe and Black are so sweet together.

Here is a close up of the Heart Embossing Folder and the sweet hearts in the stamp set.

I added a Vertical Strip of the XOXO paper to the inside edge of the card to finish it off and then a slim strip of cantaloupe. Love how it came out.

Another close up of this yummy Stacked With Love Designer Paper lining the Envelope to make this special.

Card Dimensions are:

Whisper White Card Base 5 1/2 x 8 1/2-white mat 3 3/4 x 5-scraps for the circle and Hearts.

Black Mat is 3 7/8 x 5 1/8 and a scrap for the scalloped circle.

Cantaloupe strip 1 x 3 3/4

XOXO Strip 1 1/2 x 5 and the Circle Strip 1 1/4 x 4 1/2

Directions:

• Emboss the White Mat and the Cantaloupe strip with the Happy Heart Textured Embossing Folder. Attach the Cantaloupe piece to the White mat and line up the hearts.
• Stamp two of the hearts in Cantaloupe and one in Black and cut out.
• Punch a Black Scalloped Circle with the 2 3/8 Scalloped Punch
• Cut a Circle from your Circle Framelits to fit inside the Scalloped Circle. Stamp the Love Stamp onto the white circle….but only stamp a little of it on the corner of the pad to only get the center of the words. Attach to Black Mat
• Tape Hearts Layers to Black Mat and attach the DSP after you’ve cut flags in it.
• Pop up your Scalloped Circle with Dimensionals and attach the cut our hearts with tape and the Black one with a Dimensional
• Cut a tiny strip of XOXO and attach under the Love word.
• Add a few rhinestones and embellish the inside.
