Hi Everyone!
Wow it’s been so busy around here….just getting ready for the holidays and all the good stuff that goes along with it.
Our Blog theme this month for the “Stampers Dozen Blog Hop” is New Year! My is a Black Tie kind of a card…as I thought about what I could do I thought of how our personal New Years have changed over the years. Some of my favorite ones were the dress up kind of affairs, hence this card. Black, Gold and Bubbly!
I hope you like my little creation done with the Bright and Beautiful Christmas Set.
I used the Gold Encore Ink for the Dotty Angles Stamp at the top of the card (bubbles) on the black mat. I used it again for the word New Year and for the Champagne Glasses too. I had to do a bit of fussy cutting on those.
The sentiment was inked with my Black Marker and I only colored in the top two rows of wording and stamped onto a piece of Whisper White. I then stamped the Happy New Year in gold Encore Ink and cut out. Then I made sure to clean my stamp well and marker the last line. Lined it up an Voila!
I had to pull in the Big Shot to cut out my Labels in Gold Foil Paper and my wording. I like how that looked. So I then cut the Glasses out and adhered with Dimensionals.
Didn’t want the inside to feel left out so I cut a few strips of gold and black and added to the bottom of the white mat and then stamped the “Cheers” Sentiment in Black to finish it off.
I hope you enjoyed visiting today and will come back often. I love hearing from you so please do leave a comment.
