Hi Everyone,
Today is my Birthday (Sunday) and I’d like to give away a little Blog Candy! Well I should say my Hubby would like to.
Leave a comment on my blog telling me what you would like to see next on my blog and I’ll draw for a Blog Candy Winner on Monday Morning. So get your comments in before then.
Want to know what you’ll win? Here ya go……………………One lucky person will win a set of three card stands and a Magic Bow Maker. (if you would like to purchase either items look at the top or right side of my blog)
Now for my card share……I hope you like it. It was my first swap card for a group of lovely ladies assembled by my friend Carole’ Anne. This month we prepared for Easter.
Well my card base is Whisper White (shocking I know) and I embossed the front of it with the Lacy Brocade Embossing Folder. The next layer is cut again from white using the new Ovals Framelits. I cut the largest piece and added Basic Pearls to the scallops (yes everyone of them)!
I stamped the image with The Easter Blessing Saying out of the Spring Catalog and inked it up using Old Olive and Perfect Plum Markers. (Don’t forget to huff on it to remoisten). The flower from “Nature Walk” Stamp Set was colored in the same way. Don’t you love how delicate it looks??? I then topped it off with a double loop bow on My Magic bow Maker. So easy to do. Just wrap aound twice and then tie off. I snipped the ends of the Ribbon and made the little notches.
Here’s all the product used to complete this card:
