Hi Everyone,
Good golly I’ve been slammed with activities and feel so bad that I haven’t posted in a bit again. Just when I think my calendar is clear for a day or two something happens!
Anyway I stamped with the Pace Center for Girls again yesterday and we made a card and were supposed to make this Valentine Treat.
….I forgot the set ups so we had to improvise. I will show that another day. For today it’s a 2-4-6-8 box and a tutorial.
This is such a cute-easy and fast treat holder to make with just 1/2 sheet of cardstock.
using your scoring tool score at 2-4-6-8
Turn paper and score at 1 1/2
Cut up to the 1 1/2 score line at the 2-4-6-8 scores
Random stamp your images
I used two heart from Hearts a Flutter Stamp Set
Add Sticky Strip to the inside 1/2 tab
Peel Liner off
An easy way to line it up without messing up is to fold the tab in and fold half of what’s left over.
Form into box
Fold 1 1/2 tabs in
Add sticky strip to this last tab and close (I forgot that picture)
Pinch the side in a bit as shown
Now cut “V’s” or notches on both sides
That is where you will tie your ribbon and you are done. Just don’t forget to add the treats! hehe
That’s it for today. I hope you enjoyed this little “Oldie but Goody” Tutorial.
Happy Valentine’s Day to you!!! If you need a cute little treat holder or holder’s for your kids, co-workers or whatever this is by far the easiest and fastest you’ll get. I did ten of these in about 20 minutes. So have fun with it.
Till next time……

Cute boxes. I'd forgotten all about the 2-4-6-8 box. Thanks for the reminder and tutorial!
