Autumn Accents~Colleen’s Workshop Card

Hey everyone!

I hope you are all having a fabulous day! It’s kind of dreary here in not so sunny Florida today. I kind of like it like that once in awhile. Makes me want to stay in (in my jammies) and play in my craft room.

I have a workshop for my sweet friend Coleen this weekend. She wanted a Fall Card for one of her projects. Here is what I came up with.

SAM_2066

Don’t you just love all the texture on here? I love this new die from Stampin’ Up! It’s called the Autumn Accents Die #127812 $21.95. Love all you can do with it. I was going to stamp the leaves but then decided to dry emboss them with the Woodgrain Embossing Folder # 127821 $7.95 instead and sponge with a little color. I used More Mustard and Cajun Craze Card Stock and Inks as well as Chocolate Chip Ink. Oh, I did use a smidgen of Crumb Cake for the acorn along with a scrap of Glimmer paper for the top. I topped it off with one of our new Bronze Buttons #127833 $ 6.95 and a piece of twine. The card base is Very Vanilla as well as the Mat also embossed with the Woodgrain Embossing Folder. The Thinking of you is from the Curly Cute Set#120510 $14.95 clear.

I really like how this came out. Hope Colleen and her guests like it too.

Thanks for stopping in. Need the supplies to make this card? Feel free to visit my website open 24/7!

I’d love to hear your comments on this card. It’s always so nice to hear from you.

Happy Stamping!

Stunning Lee! The leaves are gorgeous as well as all the texture. This would make a great manly card for a birthday or get well too. I've just put this die on the very top of my wishlist! The sparkle adds just the right touch. Love it!
