Hi Everyone,
As much as I tried the Elegant Lines Embossing Folder is so lovely I just couldn't cover it up. I did a white card base (I know how shocking, huh?) and a white layer embossed with the Elegant Lines. I wanted to try out my new Contempo Christmas Stamp set and decided I could do one Ornament and make it sparkle!!! Crisp White and Sparkle…can’t beat it!!
I inked up the image in Versamark and then Certainly Celery. Then stamped on a scrap of white card stock. I then oiured some Heat and Stick Powder on it and heat it with my Heat Tool. Once heated I quickly added the Certainly Celery Fine Cosmos Glitter on top of the ornament and heat set one more time…and Voila!!!
I love Heat and Stick Powder as it allows you to glitter all or part of an image.
I hope you enjoyed my simple share today…..like I always say…cards don’t have to be difficult to be beautiful!!!
Thanks for stopping by and hope to see you back soon.
Have a Stampinglee Good Day!

Beautiful. I love the white embossed background and the gold ornament. TFS.
Lee,
This is a really pretty card. It would be great in my Christmas Stamp-a-stack. I may be casing it for that or a workshop.

This is so elegant. Would you believe I have never even opened my Heat and Stick? I think it is time to do it. Thanks for the inspiration.

Beautiful card Lee... love your style... I am more a distressing type but I always appreciate your clean crisp look!
I love all the beautiful holiday cards you've been sharing!
I've never used my Heat and Stick either ... crazy! I always WANT to use it, and then forget about it when I'm actually stamping. :) Whoops. I'm going to have to try it out after seeing this gorgeous and simple card! I absolutely LOVE the white on white, too -- very classy and elegant! I'll be scraplifting this idea and using it over and over! :)
Lee's putting together another "party-in-a-box" for me. We met when I was living in Florida and now I'm in Idaho. I didn't want to lose my favorite demonstrator when I moved, so Lee just "moved" with me! :) Every three or four months I have a party -- Lee and I coordinate and choose sets that we both have. Then she cuts all the paper and sends me everything so that I can be a "demonstrator for a day!" Works perfectly! :)
Cute! Where did you get your play date sidebar buttons? I love them! Please let me know. ldsbookgrl@yahoo.com
Oh, Lee, this is absolutely gorgeous. I think I will be CASEing this for my Christmas lineup. Thanks for the inspiration.
Lee,
I hope it is ok, but as soon as I saw this, I ran upstairs to CASE it. Of course now I look like Edward from Twilight, but I love this card! How did you get the bow right though....I am horrible with bows.
Wowza my friend, what a beautiful card, absolutely stunning.
And your right, I LOVE my bow maker too, beautiful bows every single time. Thank you hubby again for making them for all of us, AND, I love my card stands too, so easy to display cards all over my studio now.
Hi Lee, love this card. So simple to put together and yet so Elegant looking. I just love the final effect of the Ornament. I have never tried the Heat and Stick Powder, but you have convinced me to sit down this weekend and give it a go. I may just have to CASE this entire card it is so beautiful! Thanks for sharing it with us.
Cyber hugs, Trish in Wisconsin
