Convention Bound

Hi Everyone,

I am on my way to Salt Lake City for the Stampin’ Up! Convention. I can hardly wait. I’ll be traveling with my very talented downline Sharon Field. I’m sure we’ll have a good time.

Tonight we have two…you heard me right two events to go to. So after we arrive at 2Pm we need to head on over to the Hotel and check in…go to the Convention Center and check in and……..go to an event with Margaret Goodfellow my fifth level upline. I can’t wait to meet my extended family of sister Demo’s!!! We’ll be there for about two hours and then head on over to Barbara Jackson’s Over the Top Swap…..so I’d like to share with you my “Over the Top” Swap I did for Barbara’s event. I had to make 50 of these and let me just say, if it wasn’t for a couple of my dear friends it wouldn’t have happened. Thanks Lisa and Rose Ann!!!

Here it is………………drumroll please………………………….

Autumn Days Over the Top Swap 006

Isn’t it beautiful? I just love it’s simple elegance. When I get back I will do a tutorial on it. If you’d like.

The base is Very Vanilla as it the crimped layer. I used our exquisite Soft Suede and dyed some of our taffeta ribbon to match. Cut out the pinecones and used an over abundance of dimensionals……but that’s alright, these Girls are so worth it.!!!! Now I cant wait to see what Barbara has in store for us.

This will be one of the cards I will teach at a Technique class when I return. So if you’re in the are….I’d love to have you.

I hope you enjoyed my card today and hope you’ll visit often.

So what do you think? Is it over the top????? I’d love to hear comments on this one.

…as always ……………….

Have a Stampinglee Good Day!

Check back for Convention Specials tomorrow!!!!!

Lee, I'm not sure how you did it, but it is definitely over the top and beautimous! I would love a tutorial on this, cuz although I am in Florida, too, I am in Plant City and too far away for classes. thanks so much for sharing your convention sights and sounds with us.

Very prety! I, too, would love to know how you folded the cardstock to create the pattern. TFS!

Hi Lee:

I was lucky enough to get one of your beautiful cards at Convention. I would love it if you would do a tutorial. Everyone that has seen your card wants to make it. I live in Alaska, too far to come to a class.

Thanks,
