Blooming with Kindness for Stamping & Blogging

Good Morning Everyone!
I can’t believe it’s May already can you? Holy Moly!!! Where does time go?
Fun sketch from Sandy this week. I’ve mixed up some things again this week that I didn’t think would go together. I kinda like the results.
sketch 103
Who would have thunk? I kind of like the grunge strip with this flower. This Blooming with Kindness set is Retiring…so sad….I love making it all different colors and have for several years now. I’ve used the stripe from Gorgeous Grunge for the background and for the flap on the card. No line….flap stamping this time! hahaha
By the way, here is the sketch….I stayed pretty true to it. Smile
So I inked up the stamp in Hello Honey and then daubbered some Cajun Craze on the edges. Then I colored the stem green with a marker. It’s that easy!! The square of Vanilla is cut to 3x3 and the base of the card is 5 1/2 x 8 1/2.  The little flags are just I stamped with my friend that is from the “And Many More” stamp set. The small Hello Honey Piece is stamped with the flower to give a little texture.
So do you own “Gorgeous Grunge”? I hope so! I love creating with this set and making all sorts of backgrounds. It’s awesome and a must have in my book. It takes the Ordinary to Extraordinary!

Beautiful. I love that flower too. I've done it with double stamping before. Love your stripes. They add great accent.
