I’d like to share how to make larger rounded corners with your circle punches. See how big the rounded corners are?
First I cut my white card stock to 4 1/4 x 11 and scored at 5 1/2. then I folded it to make a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 card base.
You can use any circle punch you want and even make them bigger but I chose the 1 1/4 Circle Punch.
With the Whisper White you are able to punch through both sides if you like. Simply insert the corner into the slot from the outside top of the punch as shown. Sometimes you have to insert more to one side and then center it
.
I then cut my Real Red Card Stock to 3 3/4 x 5 and did the same to two of the corners and layered it on top of the white fold over.
Now it was time to select an image…..hmmmmmm
Love the Fresh Vintage from the Sale-a-Bration Catalog and decided to ink it up with Markers For the flowers. I decided to use my So Saffron Marker and totally cover the flowers using the brush side of the marker.
I then went back and just touched the Real Red Marker to just a few areas around the flowers….
I used Two Green Markers as well to give the foliage a bit of dimension. Old Olive and Pear Pazzazz. Huff (Heavy Breathing) onto your stamp to re-moisten and stamp onto your Image Piece of Card Stock.
Really at this time my plan was to cut or punch out just a bit of the image but I liked it so much I left it. I then rounded the corner of that piece cut to 3 5/8 x 4 7/8. I then added the Image piece to the other layers and thought what now…….well…..
Ribbon and a Greeting of course. The Ribbon is tied into a double bow using my Magic Bow Maker (available for purchase on my right sidebar) and the sentiment is from Apothecary in the Occasions Mini, stamped in Real Red.
One final touch was the string of pearls below the Birthday Greeting just to give it a little more pazzazz!.
I hope you enjoyed my little Tutorial today. It was fun to do. Give those circle punches a try….you might like it.
Have a GREAT Day!!!

I love this one, Lee! The stamping reminds me of a favorite Waverly fabric print. :)
Great tip ~ never would have thought to try that. Beautiful card and bow!
Great idea Lee and beautiful card...thanks for the coloring tip - a bit easier than touching with the darker color, esp on a smaller stamp. Thanks for tutorial!
Great tips. I saw a card this week with the rounded edges and wondered "how did they do that". Thanks for filling me in. Very pretty card, too.
Beautiful card, Lee! I just love how you use white in your cards! I never would have thought to use a circle punch like that. Thanks for another great tip!!!
