Stamping 411 Sketch 198~Easter Beauty

Hello!!!

Welcome to another Sketch Challenge from Stamping 411 Hope you’ll take the time to play along.

SSC198

This one if fun and simple and I wondered what I could do with the background…….hmmmmmmmmm

Then it dawned on me…bright and crisp and summery…..just how it feels in Florida lately.

Sketch 197-198 and Elizabeth 002 I am showcasing the Easter Beauty Stamp Set and decided to keep with the simplicity of the sketch. So Daffodil Delight and Black and White were my choices. (I now the white surprises you…hehe)

The card base is cut to 4 1/4 by 11 and folded in half.

Th Daffodil Delight Mat is 3 x 4 1/2 and then punched with the scallop punch and added the black marker dots. The Black mat measures 2 7/8 x 3 7/8 and the white image piece is 2 3/4 x 3 1/2 . On the main card I just stamped the big images in Daffodil and Black just randomly. I could have done the whole card but kind of liked sticking to the sketch design. The main image is masked underneath but then I decided to add a topper to the middle flower so stamped again and cut out and popped it up. I added some Dazzling Diamonds with my 2-way glue and called it a day. Well not before I did my knotted ribbon and Button treatment. The stems were hand drawn as were the leaves and colored with Pear Pizzazz and Old Olive Markers. Enjoy!!

Do hope you will play along.

Wow, bright & crisp & summery in Florida huh?? It hit 54 degrees here in MA today and I was sunning myself in a t-shirt at the baseball field lol!! We would be sweltering if we actually had your weather ;) Anyway, your card is awesome as usual, love the pop of yellow & black against the white Lee!

So cute, Lee -- the spritzing and glitter really set off the card nicely! Thanks so much for sharing your wonderful creativity! Blessings, Gretchen
