Stamping 411 Sketch 197~Blue China

Hey Everyone,

Are you ready for some fun???? Then hop on over to the Stamping 411 site and play along with us this week. It’s an awesome sketch.

SSC197

…and my interpretation……

Sketch 197-198 and Elizabeth 006

How fun is this. Reminds me of Delft China? I can’t remember where but have seen these fans done lately (if you are the originator please let me know and I will give you credit) and wanted to give it a whirl. I saw this sketch and knew it would be perfect.

You take a piece of dsp cut to 1 1/4 x 6 and score every 1/4 inch and fold like a fan. Don’t forget to add your Chantilly lace.

My card base is Very Vanilla and cut to 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 and the mat is 4 x 5 1/4 and run through the Big Shot using the Square Lattice Embossing Folder. To that I attached a piece of Baja Breeze that measure 2 1/4 x 4 1/4 and stamped with the image from Dream Gardens in Versamark I then punched the bottom using the scallop trim Border Punch. I attached that and the ribbon to the piece with dimensionals.

Attach the fan with Crystal Effects and stamped my Tea Pot Image onto Vanilla by stamping in Versamark first and then Baja Breeze onto cardstock. Poured Clear Embossing Powder over it and heat set for the shiny look. I then used my 1 3/4 circle punch and popped it up on dimesionals. It still needed something so I took a few of those pearls that came in lines and carried it around the circle.

That’s it. Hope you will play along this week.

Have a good one!!!
