Nature Walk and Blog Candy Time!!!

Hi Everyone!

What a special day it is today!! While I wasn’t looking, as I’ve been busy with other things my blog counter went over 300,000 hits!! That is cause for a Celebration I’d say. What do ya’ll think? Think we need some Blog Candy??? I think we do!!

First let me tell you about my card here. I am showcasing the Nature Walk Set from the Mini Catalog (one of my favorites) and tried a bit of faux linen here but then decided to Emboss with the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing folder. I am lovin’ this look! How about you?

Nature Walk in Early Espresso 006What I did was take a piece of Glossy Cardstock and took my Sanding block and drug it one way across the Glossy finish. Then the other way. Wiped off the dust and proceeded to add some Baja Breeze and Early Espresso. Yummy together!!

Anyway this is the result of me laying around with a bit of color and then dry embossing it. I added some Antique Brads and some Seam Binding Ribbon and there you have it. Like the shredding of the Seam Binding? So delicate looking. Hope you like it.

If I can help you with any of your stamping needs don’t hesitate to contact me at the top right of my blog. I’ll be more than happy to help. You can also shop at my online store too if you’d like. We’re having a Sale-a-Bration there too. You might not want to miss it.

Now back to the Blog Candy. I think you know where I’m going with this, right? Seam Binding, Bow maker….you got it. How about a roll of Seam Binding and a Magic Bow Maker?!? Sound good? Just leave me a comment telling me why you would like to win. I will announce a winner on Friday afternoon at 12 noon EST.

Good Luck Everyone and thanks so much for your continued support. Love you guys!!!

It's the smart choice. :D hehe

Love ya!

Wow Lee, that card is gorgeous!! Congrats on 300,000 hits. I am not surprised, you do amazing work and I love being subbed to your blog. I would love to win some seam binding and a bow maker. I don't have any seam binding yet, and I can't tie a bow to save me! It took me about a month and many failed attempts to finally be able to do Mary Brown's brad bows right. I am a serious fumble fingers. If I could make a pretty bow with your bow maker, anyone could. What an endorsement that would be!! lol

First of all let me say that I love coming to your blog everyday. I stop by a few of my favorite blogs each day with my cup of coffee and see what new creations have been made to enspire me for the day! Second, I would love to win your blog candy, because I am trying to get a small collection of ribbons together and i find that the seam binding ribbon works really well on cards and I am having a tough time learning how to make simple bows, so the bow maker would be super great. I have thought about purchasing on for sometime, but on my salery, find it hard to purchase such an item, just for a hobby, when it should be spent on bills or food for my family. Even if I don't win, I still enjoy stopping by each day and checking out your blog!! Good luck to everyone!!

Hi!
I have been a lurker for a while now, and I really enjoy reading your blog! So much inspiration! I would love to win the seam binding and the bow maker! I became a demonstrator in November and had my first workshop in January. We used the seam binding, but the bows I had been (trying) to make before hand did not turn out so well! It would be great to have a tool to help with that! Also, I LOVE the seam binding. I wish my business was bigger so I would have an excuse to buy it all! Thanks for the opportunity!
