Stamping 411 Sketch Challenge 171

Hi Everyone,

Welcome to another sketch challenge from Stamping 411

I hope you will take the time to play along this week as this is a really fun sketch.

Here is the sketch:

SSC171

….and my interpretation

Sketch 171 002

I’ve showcased the Tree Trimmings set this week and it’s the first time I’ve played with it this year. I really do love this set. I partnered it with En Francais for the script background on the small panels behind the ornaments.

The dimensions for the card are:

Cherry Cobbler Card 5 1/2 x 8 1/2

Very Vanilla embossed with the Vintage Embossing Folder         4 x 5 1/2

Gold Mats are 1 -3/8 x 2 -3/4

Very Vanilla mats embossed with Gold Embossing Powder with the En Francais Background Stamp using Versamark and Gold Embossing Powder and then the Ornaments stamped with Versamark and embossed with gold as well. These were stamped on Vanilla scraps and cut out and then colored in with my Cherry Cobbler Marker. I then attached the Ornaments with Dimensionals. Tied my fabulous Cherry Cobble Seam Binding around and making my double bow.

I’ve got three pearls on the top right that I’ve colored with my Cherry Cobbler Marker to finish it off.

That’s it from here today. I hope you enjoyed our visit and now hope you’ll hop on over to he Stamping 411 Blog and see what the other Operators have come up with.

Hope to see you back soon…

Have a Stampinglee Good Day!

Just gorgeous, I love the look of it and when I seen the sketch the first thing that came to mind was using this set, but since one of the operators did, I did something different. Anyway love it.

Lee, this is stunning and I will have to make one since I have this set. Does that marker stay on the pearls? Great idea if it does. TFS!
