Stamping 411 Sketch Challenge

Hi Everyone!

Welcome to another Stamping 411 Sketch Challenge brought to you by the Stamping 411 Operators.

Here is the sketch:

ssc155

….and of course my interpretation ……

Sketch 155 and Sandollar Board 005

I have finally pulled my new Fancy Flower Extra Large out if it’s package to play with and do this challenge. Sure made it simple.

I used a Sponge Dauber to create large Dots onto the white piece for a homemade Background paper. then I took a piece of Melon Mambo and ran it through my Big Shot (what else) with the Lattice Square Embossing Folder, then scalloped the edge with my Scallop Border Punch. The flowers were punched with the Fancy Flower and also run through the Big Shot with the same folder. Then I scrunched them up sponged the edges with Black ink using a sponge dauber. The center of the flower is a one inch Circle cut from Black Cardstock and glued into the center of the flower. I made my Black Ribbon bow from Black Satin Ribbon using my Magic Bow Maker and taped the ends behind. I then assembled the card and decided it needed some BLING!!!! So I pulled out my Black Chunky Glitter and added it to the center of the flower using Tombo Multi and to the button on the left. I then added a strip of Red Sticky Tape above the ribbon and added a bit more there for balance. Phew!!! Now it’s all dressed up with no where to go!!! Just kidding….I have someone in mind for this one.

The dimensions for the card are:

Whisper White: 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, Basic Black Mat 4 x 5 1/4, Whisper White Dotted Mat 3 3/4 x 5 and the Melon Mambo was cut to 3 3/4 x3 1/2

That’s it for today except to say Thanks for stopping by and I hope you play along this week. We love it when you do!!!!

Have a Stampinglee Good Day now!!!!
