Stamping 411 Card Challenge

Hi Everyone and welcome to another Sketch Challenge from Stamping 411. Our Sketch Queen Selene has come up with yet another fun design for us. Make sure to check out what she and the other Operators and have designed too!

Now for he sketch:ssc154

…and my interpretation:

Sketch 154 005

I have showcased the Garden Whimsey Stamp Set here. It’s one I haven’s used in a very long time. Guess I felt rather whimsical today.

The card Base is Whisper White 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 and folded in half

Two strips of Lavender Lace for the Scallops. Two pieces of white with the striped background stamp stamped in Lavender Lace and cut out around the perimeter, the glued together can cut to 2 3/4 x 4 1/4

Dotted mat is: 3 x 3 3/4 and dotted with my Lavender Lace Marker. The image piece is 2 3/4 x 3 1/2.

I then colored out white ribbon with my Lavender Lace Marker. That’s it.

Oh let’s not forget that I used Old Olive and Lavender Lace ink pads to ink up my stamps. that’s it for today. I hope you decide to play along.

Thanks for stopping in and have a ….

Stampinglee Good Day!

I love the dyed ribbon! The tulip is my favorite stamp in that set. Beautiful card as usual!

Yummy card, Lee. Love the Lavender Lace and White. And the stripes and polka dots. And the ribbon. And, and . . .
I am sorry to see this stamp set retire, I haven't used it enough yet.
A question: Did you make a bow separately from the strip of ribbon and then glue it on, or is it all one piece of ribbon?

This is the perfect card for this morning. Here in Southern California we have what is called June gloom where the sun doesn't come out until late morning or early afternoon. Thanks for blessing my morning! :)
