Merry Christmas & Blog Candy

Good Morning Everyone!

I hope you are all having a wonderful Christmas week. I know it’s busy around here. We just got back from Atlanta a few days ago. We spent some time with our oldest son and his wife and our two grandkids. It was so good to see them. The grandkids are growing way to fast for me. Just seems like yesterday that they were little.

Here they are with a few things they got from us for Christmas!!! Aren’t they beautiful?

Christmas 2009 and flower brooch 013

………speaking of gifts……

I’d like to offer up some Christmas Blog Candy. Here is a little Fabric Pin and matching box I made for an upcoming class. Once the class is over I will send it to the winner. Winner will be drawn on December 26th.

All you have to do is leave me a comment.

This box was made with our “Flower Folds” Die from Stampin’ Up! and some fabric scraps I purchased at a fabric store. It’s just truly amazing what you can do with a Big Shot.

flower pin and box -2

I Thank You for visiting and wish all of you a very Merry Christmas and a New Year full of Love, Joy and Happiness……and of course wish you a Stampinglee Good Day!!!

Oh my gosh! This die is on my wishlist and I just love this pin. Everyone has been making these beautiful pins and I would love the chance to win one. Did you sew on this one? I can't sew worth a hoot, so that's been scaring me off. Hugs to you and may you have a Blessed Christmas.

I have never been a fan of pins, but fell in love with your pin. You did a great job with the colors and the fullness of the fabrics. I have a new black dress that the pin would accent perfectly.
The box looks like it professionally made.
Great job!!

Love this pin and box Lee! Makes me want that die even more :o)

I really like the black, grey, & white color scheme and the loose weave and tiny bit of fraying.

I had seen other pins that were very brightly colored and I was not at all impressed, but the monochromatic was just gorgeous! It also might be pretty w/ a red button for a touch of zing.

Ahhh, I just found the word Comment so maybe I just needed to slip on my reading glasses - I don't know how I missed it. Thanks so much.
(I believe if I had started earlier in life I may have stayed longer as a SU demonstrator.) I made Sr. Supervisor but had mostly club workshops after several of my downline moved away and/or dropped out. Do you mind telling me the LA demo? I still try to contact any in this area to come and have fun with the 4 of us who are still close and active. I understand there are several demos stationed at BAFB just over the bridge in Bossier City. I don't want any demo to feel left out or too far for support. Oh dear, how I ramble! Blog comment: I love every-thing abut your blog including the lovely pin and box!.

So sorry to hear about your hand. I hope that it is on the mend soon. Aren't Grandchildren grand! We are getting up at 4:30am this morning to go over to my Daughter's house so that we can be there when our 3 year old Grandson wakes up and sees that Santa Came. I can't wait to see the expression on his face, will have camera ready. Yes, we are a little crazy, but then they are little for such a short while. I am so happy for you that you got to spend some time with your Grandchildren over the Holidays. The flower is awesome, and it goes so well with the box. What a magical gift, you are so generous. Have yourself a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Much nicer than the ones I tried to make for Christmas gifts this year... what kind of fabric did you use? I couldn't get mine to fluff up much or fray prettily like that... Would love to have this one so I can compare!! :)
