Exciting News

Good Morning Everyone,

I've got some very exciting news to share. I have been invited to be one of the designer/Operators on a new joint venture blog. The blog was created by Selene Kempton and she has invited several fellow Demonstrators to participate. You're going to love all the different styles you'll be seeing in the weeks ahead.

This blog is called Stamping 411 and is a place where you can go and learn all sorts of stamping tips, tricks and ideas. We are going to get back to basics and hopefully teach the art of rubber stamping and make things a bit easier for everyone. As the blog progresses you will be able to ask questions (hence the 411...operator's, get it?) of the different "Operators".

Another thing is that we will have weekly sketch challenges and you'll be able to view the work of 5 Operators (Designers) all in one spot.

You are not going to believe the talent that is on this blog......You'll just have to check it out to see.

In the meantime here is this weeks sketch challenge and my interpretation of it. Enjoy and don't forget to visit Stamping 411.

ssketch101 Sketch #101

Soft_Summer_Sketch_thumb[4] I used the fabulous “Soft Summer” Stamp Set for this challenge card. I stamped the image in Black Stazon and colored in with re-inkers and an Aqua Painter. I used Baja Breeze and Kiwi Kiss for the image. I then matted onto a piece of Baha Breeze. The background mat is featuring our Parisian Breeze Designer Series paper….isn’t it fabulous? My favorite part is the ribbon, which is our White Organza Ribbon which I dyed to match the cardstock. I took my sponge dauber and picked up some color off of my Baja Breeze ink pad and rubbed it over my white ribbon….perfect match!!! Don’t you just love how all of our products match?

I appreciate you stopping by and hope you’ll stop by Stampin 411 to see the other talent….you won’t be disappointed.

Thanks Selene…it’s quite an honor to be associated with all of these fabulous ladies!!!

As always….have a Stampinglee good Day!

Lee

Lee, I got the word from Patty B and I'm so excited about this! I'm so happy you are all doing this! And I love seeing how we can use our stamps with a single sketch!
