Brrrrrrrrr!!! Lovely Wintery Day

Good Morning Everyone!
Today is a very special day for me......it's my husband's and mine Wedding Anniversary. We have been married for 39 years!!! I can hardly believe it. I am so lucky to have him in my life....he's everything to me!
Now on to my share......
Here is another Christmas Card for you done with Stampin' Up!s fabulous "Lovely as a Tree" Stamp Set. I have to say that not a Christmas has gone by in the last 6-7 years that I haven't used this set. It's a must have!
Those of you that know me know I love whites and creams. I just love the clean look on cards and other things. Believe it or not all my clothes used to be white or cream....that was it! A dear friend of mine told me how boring I was so I had to add some color to my wardrobe (thanks Ann).
But........I am reverting to my old ways with this card.
I used Very Vanilla for the card and insert. I stamped the trees in Handsome Hunter. I then used the "Dryer Sheet" Technique. It's where you stamp your image and then spray with spray adhesive and lay a USED dryer sheet from your laundry over the spray adhesive. Then quickly sprinkle on some Dazzling Diamonds. Tap down to adhere. The DD work they're way into the fibers of the sheet. They don't even rub off! When dry (just a minute or so) trim and work it into your card. I love this technique and have used it before....this Technique is just too good not to bring back. I hope you enjoy it!
I got this die cut card from my friend Melinda who is going into her own business of selling Die-Cut Cards. She plans on using all Stampin' Up! paper so will have all the colors. If you'd like to contact her you can reach her by email: here. I think this just may save me lots of cutting time and allow me to do more, you may want to order some yourself.
Have a Stampinglee Good Day!
Lee
