WWYS with From the Garden

Hi Everyone,

It’s been a huge weekend for me. Had a big Charity Event yesterday with my team and our customers doing what we love best….stamping!!! It was awesome. We also raised $$$ for Autism Awareness so that was cool. See my post from yesterday If you missed it

Now onto WWYS!!! This is such a fun group and one you can play along with. I’d love to see you participate. It’s easy and fun and gets your creative juices flowing. Smile

Don’t laugh okay?

This week we are featuring the “From the Garden Set” from Stampin’ Up! and here is what I’ve created with it. Please understand I do not have a green thumb, never have an never will. I bought this cute little flowering plant just for this project and it was flowering. Not for long….Sad smile

I’ll just have to stick to card making I guess! Smile

I used the adorable plant pic from the From the Garden Set and thought immediately that I would make a little gift card to go along with a little flowering plant (don’t laugh)! I created my card using a 3 x 6 piece of Vanilla Card Stock and added Crumb Cake mat and then a vanilla mat stamped with the meshy stamp fro Butterlfy Basics. The little flower is from Painted Petals. I then made little Envie for my cute little card using the Envelope Punch Board. It’s the BEST!

I wrapped my little container in our Typeset Designer Series Paper (I love that stuff) and tied twine around it. That didn’t do so I did some black strips and added some twine between adhering it with Red Sticky Strip Tape. That worked…yay! Than I did a bow with Twine to finish it off. Do you love the little pick in there with the name of the plant….hope it survives until I can find it a new home. lol

I think it's AWESOME!!! You did a killer job on this one and hey, you're giving it as a gift. It will just be a happy surprise when it decides to magically have flowers, right?! ;)
