Stamping 411 Sketch 218~Summer Solstice

Hi Everyone,

Got a sweet little card for you today. At least I think it’s cute. Love the soft colors here and the dainty doily. This card was made for the Stamping 411 sketch challenge this wee. I hope you will go on over and play along or just see what the other talented Operators have come up with.

Here is the sketch ….

………and my interpretation

Craft Show and Sketch218 007

The card base is 5 1/2 x 81/2 and folded over. It’s done in Pool Party. Gorgeous soft color…I love it.

the next layer is a white mat sized at 3 3/4 x 5 and then a piece of DSP called “Domestic Goddess” that matches the Pool Party Paper perfectly, it’s cut at 3 1/2 x 3 5/8. Followed by a strip of white embossed card stock with the Polka Dot Embossing Folder. It measures 1 1/2 x 3 5/8. those two pieces are attached to the White mat. I’ve done a double loop bow and attached to the back of the card and popped that layer up with dimensionals.

The pretty doily comes from the Specialty DSP called Flirtatious. I cut one of the doilies off the piece and used the white side. I then attached a circle cut from the Circles dies and added a Pool Party Circle cut with the 1 3/4 circle punch. The lat circle is punched from polka dotted left over with the 1 3/8 circle punch to coordinate with the bottom of the card. I stamped the Butterfly with Calypso Coral onto a scrap of white and cut it out. Then popped it up with a dimensional. The inside has a white mat to stamp or write on and a small strip of the same DSP. Hope you like it.

Thanks for visiting and hope you will play along. See you next time!
