Stamping 411 Sketch Challenge~Leaf Lines

Hi Everyone,

I decided to pull out a new stamp set (well new to me) for this challenge. It’s almost Fall, right?

Here is the sketch…ssc169

…and my interpretation………………

I know….I can hear you know….this is the second week in a row I haven’t used white…..shall we try and go for three? hehe

My card base is 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 and folded in half. The More Mustard Mat is 2 1/2 x 4 1/4. I took a piece of Watercolor Paper I had sitting in my scraps and made some Designer Paper as I didn’t have anything to match…..I took my Watercolor Pencils and scribble on some color and with a very wet Aqua Painter spread it around. I did this with the yellows, rust and even a bit of brown. When it was dry I ran my aqua painter over it with some Shimmer Paint to make it sparkle a bit. I then attached it to my More Mustard piece but it lacked something so I added two slivers of Early Espresso to the top and boom of it with my 2-Way Glue Pen. that fixed it right up. My Image was stamped with Early Espresso and colored with my Blender Pen. I don’t know if you can notice but I added just a bit of blue around most of the image giving it a little bit of depth and spreading it with my Blender Pen.

I mounted this circle on a 2 3/8 circle from my Circle Die. After I was done I added just touch of Shimmer Paint (Champagne) to the acorn and a tiny bit on parts of the leaves. Mounted this onto an oval done with my Ovals Die and popped it up with our Pop up Glue Dots…they are the heavy duty ones. ….and finally my bow secured with a Brad from the Vintage Brads on Early Espresso Ribbon…isn’t that Ribbon luscious?

Thanks for stopping by and don’t forget to check out what the other Operators have done. They are phenomenal !!!

Have Stampinglee Good Day!!!

Love the warm colors of this card, and especially the coloring of the leaves! You are the queen of the white cards, but you are so talented, it doesn't matter what color you choose, it's always gorgeous!
