Stamping 411 Sketch Challenge

Good Morning Everyone,

I know your saying: WOW!!! COLOR!!!!

Yes sometimes I do color, not often but sometimes. My inspriation for this card came from the new Stampin’ Up! Catalog….color combination and all…except it was a box.

I loved it so here you go!!!!

As you know it’s Stamping 411 time and that means sketch time….

Here is the sketch …

ssc160

…and my interpretation with some help from SU!

Swap and Sketch Cards 013

The Card base is Certainly Celery and measures 5 1/2 x 8 1/2

The next layer is Baja Breeze and it measure 4 x 5 1/4 it’s also run through the Big Shot using the Square Lattice Embossing Folder.

Elegant Eggplant Mat is 2-5/8 x 3- 3/4

White is 2- 1/2  x 3 -5/8

The flower are stamped in Elegant Eggplant and stmped off then rolled in the Elegant Eggplant (just the edges)again. It’s called Rock and Roll. the center are colored with my Certainly Celery Marker. The flowers are cut out and popped up with dimensionals….well the middle one is. The other two are glued down.

Elegant Eggplant Mat is 1-3/6 x 4-1/8 and the Certainly piece over it is 7/8” x 4-1/8. I attached those together and ran it through the Big Shot using the Square Lattice Embossing Folder. I attached some Certainly Celery Satin Ribbon to it after making a bow on my bow maker.

Don’t forget the Scalloped Punched Border, I almost did!!

I hope you’ll take a minute and hop on over to the Stamping 411Blog and see what’s cooking. Maybe even play along.

Thanks for stopping by and as always….

Have a Stampinglee Good Day!

Thanks so much for sharing a part of convention. Those cards are fantastic. I love the one with the organdy flower. What a wonderful way to send someone a pin. Joyce Pacer
