Flower for All Seasons

Hi Everyone,

Welcome to another week of Stampin 411 Challenges.

I hope you will play along. Here is the Sketch:

ssc118

…..and now my interpretation of it.

Sketch 118 009

For this Sketch I showcase the  “A Flower for All Seasons” Stamp Set.

My Cardstock Sizes are:

Real Red-5 1/2” x 8 1/2”

Whisper White ( I have two layers) 3’ x 5 1/2” and 1’ x5 1/4”

The circles were done with my Circle Scissors and are 3”& 3 1/4”

I decided to leave the sentiment off and place it on the inside of thee card as I wanted the snowy effect to be clean and crisp.

I used the Petal-a-Plenty Embossing Folder ( in the Big Shot) on the red and one layer of the white. The thin strip of white that peeks out is covered in Dazzling Diamonds. I don’t think you can see that I have misted the whole card with a Shimmer Mist. This concoction was created by my downline Sharon Field. I’m so glad she share it with me. It just makes a card sparkle like crazy. Click here for directions. Thanks for sharing this Sharon.

I guess that’s all for today…..hope to see you back soon.

Have a Stampinglee Good Day

Lee, this is gorgeous. I love the color combination and the shimmer! I hadn't thought of using my little cardinal and flowerpot in the snow. I have to case this one :-)

WOW -- lee, this is absolutely amazing. I would hever have thought to do the curvy cut -- what a great card and a great way to interpret this week's sketch. Thanks for sharing. Blessings, Gretchen
