A Special Stampin’ Up! Christmas

Hi Everyone,

Sorry I’ve been away so long. I have just been so busy. I had this event on Saturday and have had three workshops in the last two days!!! So I’ve been a little preoccupied.

I last shared with you my Snowflake Card I did for a special event I (and some of my team) had on Saturday. It was a HUGE success.

This event was to raise Money for the Pace Center for Girls. They are certainly using up the product we got for them in the summer so we decided to do another event to earn Money to replenish the supplies.

Some of my Team Members…

Roberta, Susan, Gina, Christina ,Janet, Myself, Amy & Rose Ann

Vintage Snowflake

Hi Everyone,

Oh My Goodness, yesterday was a busy day. I did a Mega Stamping Event “A Stampin’ Up! Christmas” at a facility here in Jacksonville, Florida. I will share the card we did at my table today and pictures of the event and what my downline did tomorrow.

I have just been itching to show this card for 5 weeks now but had to keep it secret for the event. I hope you enjoy it.

Snowflake Card

This was done on Shimmer White Card Stock #101910 at $7.95 and a border mat of Crumb Cake ##120953 . Just a touch of Bashful Blue and one of our wonderful Antique Brads. As you can see the large snowflakes ( One in Shimmery White and one in Crumb Cake are cut using the Snowflake #2 Die #113460 at $15.95 The smaller snowflake is using on of the snowflakes from the Snowflake set $2 #113449 at $19.95.

I stamped the Merry Christmas from the Contempo Christmas Set #120594 (clear mount) and stamped it with Crumb Cake then punched out (always stamp first so you can make sure it’s straight) with the extra large Oval Punch #119859 at $16.95.

I ran the Shimmery White embossed mat through the Big Shot using the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder #120175 at $7.95.

I then sponged the edges with Crumb Cake and also the oval and the snowflakes…all but the blue snowflake.

Last but not least…..Dazzling Diamonds adhered with a two-way glue pen.

Use your paper piercer to pierce the center of the snowflakes and even through the Shimmery White mat to hold it in place with the Antique Brad. Then adhere the mat to the Crumb Cake Mat and then the card itself. That’s it!!!

I hope you enjoyed it as much as the 60 people that were there yesterday. It was so much fun……don’t forget to tune in tomorrow for the rest of the story and many more samples.

If you don’t hve a Demonstrator and would like to order any of these products you can purchase on line at my Online Store or contact me for assistance.

Have a Stampinglee Good Day Everyone!

Stamping 411 Sketch Challenge 170

Hi Everyone,

The sketch this week was fun to work with…I hope you will join in the fun over at Stamping 411

Here is the sketch:

SSC170

…and my interpretation.

Sketch 170 006

The card base is Sahara Sand cut at 5 1/2” x 8 1/2”

The Deck the Halls DSP is cut at 2 1/4” x 5 1/2”

Sahara Sand top piece is 2 1/4 x 5 1/2 and run through the Big Shot with the Square Lattice Embossing Folder.

Cherry Cobble Mat is 2-3/8 x 3-3/8

Image piece is 2- 1/4 x 3 -1/4

I stamped the Bird from Cardinal Christmas on Very Vanilla Card Stock and colored with my Markers, Cherry Cobbler, Pumpkin Pie. Old Olive and Soft Suede. I wanted Mr. Cardinal to be deep and rich in color.

I used my light blue Water Color Pencil to draw an edge around the bird and then blend out with a blender pen to create a shadow of sorts. I then mounted the image onto the Cherry Cobbler Mat.

The extra piece of Embossed Sahara Sand was attached to the top of the card. I then made my ribbon treatment and attached it to the dsp with adhesive and attached it to the bottom of the card. Then added dimensionals to the image and popped it on. That’s it. Nice and easy.

I hope you will play along with us Operators this week. It will be fun seeing what everyone comes up with.

Hope you all have a….

Peace~Love~ Joy

Good Morning Everyone,

This is a card I will be doing at a workshop tonight. Pretty simple workshop card using the Two Step Bird Punch, some Gorgeous DSP and A sentiment from the “All Holidays” Stamp Set. It’s going to be fun showing my customers how easy Christmas can be with the right tools.

Did you notice the Double Bow made out of our new Seam Binding? OMG…I think I’ve found a new favorite ribbon…. This stuff is to die for!!!! It’s so soft, yet does what you want it to do. Of course I used my magic bow Maker (available for purchase on my right side bar) to easily make the gorgeous bow.

That’s it for today….make sure to have a …….

A Very Special Day

Good Morning Everyone,

Yesterday was a very special day as we celebrated with a Friend “The Change of Command Ceremony” at an air field here in Jacksonville, Florida. It was held in a Military Hangar that my Husband and his company refurbished earlier this year. He also built them a new Hangar as well.

Today however we celebrated “The Change of Command”. It was and awesome Ceremony and we felt so privileged to be a part of it. Her are some of the troops (in the background) waiting for the Ceremony to begin….
